Harley (boy)

Its was my friend who died of cancers last name. The name reminds me of smiling and laughter.

Harley was used for boys from the 19th century on. Since the late 20th century it has been more popular for girls. It comes from an English surname made from the element leah meaning "wood; clearing; field; meadow" and either the element hoer meaning "rocks" or hara meaning "hare" (also possibly a personal name). In popular culture most people are probably reminded of Harley Davidson motorcycles and their association with rebelliousness and carefree danger.
